We used this daily in Rome We used this daily in RomeI can't say enough good things about this app. I used in weeks ahead in my planning for our trip but the greatest part was when we were out and about, hungry, not wanting to eat in a tourist trap. It not only works offline, it tells you where each restaurant is in relation to your current location. Life-saver! Every place we tried from this app was on our favorites list. Katie is a true foodie and we can all eat better thanks to her!

Disappointed DisappointedWith the ubiquity of sites like yelp and tripadvisor, I thought this app would provide a nice change of pace. Perhaps even shed light on a few "hidden gems" in the city. It didn't. Skip the app, and do your research like everyone else.

I wish the My Picks feature actually worked I wish the My Picks feature actually workedGreat content with lots of useful tips and suggestions, but the skeuomorphic interface feels cluttered and dated. More frustratingly, the My Picks feature doesn’t work and seems to delete all of my favourited, saved places. As a consequence, the Offline feature is substantially less useful.

Don't eat in Rome without Katie's app!!!! Don't eat in Rome without Katie's app!!!!We found this app to be absolutely indispensable in Rome!!! There is incredible food in Rome, but you are unlikely to find it by just wandering around looking for someplace that "looks good" With this app whenever we were ready to eat all we had to do was check the map and see which of Katie's recommended places we were close to. We had some absolutely unforgettable experiences, from gelato, to pizza, sandwiches a and restaurants based on her recommendations. Interestingly prices for truly excellent food were exactly the same as for the mediocre or poor. I wish there was an app like this for every city!!!

Disappointed DisappointedI had a lot of difficulty moving around the app. Screens would freeze and had to reset the iPad to get out of it. I tried multiple times to use it and was foiled on each occasion. There are smoother Italian dining apps out there. This one is not worth $2.99
