This day and age and you can't sync between ipad and iphone???

This app does everything that penultimate should do. Easy to use, responsive, truly outstanding output. Pay for the pro version, it's worth it!

It doesn't take long to get into the groove with the use of this App.. Once you understand the basics of how to access and use the Tool Bar (brush, pencil, pen, etc.) the rest is just a matter of drawing whatever you are capable of accomplishing. The "hand rest" area is re-sizable on the fly and that is a BIG plus for in a certain area of the drawing. Being able to ZOOM the drawing for doing tiny details, is GREAT too. JDYS

note: I own pro, (plus) but cannot submit a review. Tried deleting and re installing, says I do not own it, yet the app store shows an "open" option. In nearly 10 years on the app store I have managed to purchase an incredible 10k apps. Most of those are paid and not free. I asked myself an interesting question, disregarding games, which productivity apps met the following criteria. * able to accomlish the intended purpose * the output was successfully used in real life * the process was repeated. Sadly, very few productivity apps made the grade. Most of them blast off, then fizzle, then crash somewhere in the ocean. Most of them compared to a win eq ... are honestly not even half baked, but partly baked. And fewer yet even seem to take advantage of gestures and tablet based advantages. This one I was able to complete and use the following in real life. * created a quadrant chart, combining typing and doodling on the same page to help me make a decision * work with an multiple elaborate lists again with both drawing and typing, moving the lists around, or dissecting and moving or changing parts of the lists * capture and map out an app I wanted to build. I tried this in other apps and the page just was not big enough. And side by side "scroll" type apps I can't see the whole thing. mind mappers were way too complicated for this. * write out a business idea. I was able to pan in, and out details and the unlimited colors on the color wheels for text and drawing make this process work for me. I can sort by my own color codes. * draw an icon. I can't draw at all. the stretching let me grow it out, then no matter how much I wobbled, when I shrunk it down it looked pretty nice. I like the fact I got great value from this app for a long time before even owning a paid version. I didn't see all the usual frustrating restrictions. Honestly, I can't remember seeing any boxes pop up begging for money. The update including text was a big step towards this app having practical uses. I like that this app allows itunes sharing (real important), and has universal (real important, and I like that in the life span of this app I never saw an IAP in the plus version. The free version, which I got value out of for years its one iap. I never saw another. Did I mention I love the non-iap version? iaps .... yick. I love the stretching but I wish that this app was also actually big in page size too sort of merging scrolling pages and the existing feature. So you would end up with connected side by side sheets. A paper as big as my floor, haha. Pretty cool ... The object manipulation here is still groundbreaking on the app store as is the page stretching. However there is little practical explanation of how to use the crazy twisting other than just goofing about to impress buddies. Need a better tutorial there for us non-artists. The lock function continues to be the most confusing features. It just stops editing and does not lock the doc. With ipads being shared so much, a pass protect would be a welcome feature, to stop accidental peeping of intellectual property .... or just doodles. Drag and drop audio and video icons would be nice. Then it becomes more like a live storyboard or a visual way to map out new songs, ... the possibilities grow. Its unclear how the other apps in the line-up fit in. a resume maker, .... pdf app, ...a post it note app with no color wheel (grrr.....) ... the audio note taker one might be useful ... vittle I don't understand what that even does. Thats a head scratcher for me. Honestly, I would rather see the inkflow app grow in dominance. Inkflow is just getting started, the way I see it. and years later, this app still has not been duplicated. more proof that this talented dev has far from reached his potential.

The free version is a pure delight the twist being the upgrade for a pretty hefty price tag. Other apps offer a hint more than what Inkflow is shelling out for the price but as is the free version is great on its own. A $2.99 pricing seems like the way to go for this app at best.
