Great network discovery app for Mac users!! Great network discovery app for Mac users!!This is one of the more useful apps I’ve found. I was a little skeptical before buying it but because I really needed to see what devices were connected to my network, I took the chance and bought/installed it and was pleasantly surprised. For the most part, I run a Mac network at home with 2 Airport Extreme’s and several LAN connections as well. This is a very flexible and functional app that allows you to scan your network and collect specific connections based on IP address, shows MAC address and even presents an icon if there is one available but also allows you to use your own icons for items it doesn’t have. Overall, I have about 40 devices connected to my network from iPhones, iMac’s, AppleTV’s, printers, phones and satellite equipment - its now all visible. Great app, in my opinion, well worth the $7.00 USD. *** Gap as of 16-Nov-2014 => Airport Extreme Gen 6 base stations don’t appear to be fully recognized by iNet. I can access the Network Traffic monitoring app in iNet for my 4th Gen AEBS and pull stats off of it but not for the Gen 6. Hopefully this will be fixed in the next update. I give it 4 out of 5 for this reason because this Airport has been out for more than a year and this shouldn’t be affected.

Not worth $7.99 ! Not worth $7.99 !This app had potential on paper but without Airport Monitor (which I was mainly interrested in but it’s not supported since I have the latest Time Capsule supporting 802.11ac) is not worth $7.99. There are cheeper alternatives that do an as good if not better job.

Still the best Still the bestI’ve used a lot of network scanners and analyzers and I really like this one. It’s simple yet gets all the information I need, lets me annotate names where necessary, and provides wake on lan support. I love the airport analysis it can do on an SNMP-enabled airport. This version works well with Yosemite and iNet continues to be my goto network analysis app.

An excellent app An excellent appI’ve owned and used this app for some time now and have found it to be the best network analysis app in the Mac App store. I updated to the current release a few days ago and have noticed a marked improvement in stability and performance on Yosemite (this app has not historically had any stability issues but something was wonky on Yosemite). If you’re looking for an app to monitor and understand your network iNet is an excellent choice.

Keep the Good Job !
