This was better without the freemium model. This was better without the freemium model.Grooh is a cute, charming, and challenging puzzle game. Solving each room requires planning ahead - the first few levels aren't hard, but the more rooms you move through, the harder it becomes to reach the next. The bright colours, catchy music, and adorable main character will appeal to all ages. However, the move to freemium produced a big problem for those who bought the game previously. At first, buying the game unlocked all 120 original levels... but now that the game is free to download, most of the levels are automatically locked and can only be accessed through an in-app purchase. When I replaced my iDevice with a new one, I chose not to transfer my game data and have been forced to pay a second time for levels 41 to 120. I was not impressed at all - this is extremely bad form. Hopefully, if and when Grooh 2 is released, there will be no such issues. Five stars for engaging gameplay and a loveable character, minus two for the poorly executed switch to freemium. The extra levels are worth the cost, but the power-ups should definitely be avoided.

I dunno I dunnoSo this game is cute, but they make you pay for only a few levels, which by the way are really easy, and then they make you pay for more! Why can't they just make us pay once and be done with it. I defiantly wouldn't have gotten it if I knew I wouldn't get very many levels. But other than that, if you're willing to pay, it's fun and a cute idea.
