GPSTrack

This is my go-to app for keeping tracks of my hikes and other outdoor activities.

It's perfect for what I need. The tracks my path and tells me how far I've walked even when I go off trail. Did I mention it's actually free of ads!? This app reminds me of the days when programmers built software because they wanted to, not just to get paid. Thank you!

Works perfectly. Upload the tracking file into lightroom. Images get placed on the map with GPS info and perfect placement. Quick, easy and just what I was looking for.

Reasonably accurate for what I use it for, geotagging my photographs. Only gripe there's no way of setting a way point apart from stopping the track and restarting it. Can't say more than that.

Nice product. I used it on a kayaking trip today. I started the app, returned to the iPhone home screen, and put my phone in a waterproof case. When I got off the river five hours later, the app showed my path on a map and said I travelled 11.2 miles. It used less than 10% battery per hour running in background. I can export the track to my computer to import into a GPS program to see detailed info about the track. I also used it when touring a college campus. I could look at the track on the map and see which dorms and buildings I toured. Definitely worth purchasing.
