Also ausbaufähig...

Rubbish RubbishI only gave it one star because I had too. You have put your email address and password in so it can send you some rubbish junk mail that takes up your time deleting it when you could be playing on your guitar. Don't download it please.

Great idea - needs work Great idea - needs workI really, really want to love this app. And I do love the concept, but the app isn't quite there yet. The biggest problem is that when you build a song on GoChords.com and sync it with the iPad app (which is how you use it - you can't build chord charts in the app itself,) the chord charts drift over the lyrics so that the chords and the words no longer match up. I've tried a dozen different combinations of text sizes & chord chart sizes, but not one will keep the chords and the lyrics in sync when it goes from the website to the app. The ability to take your song charts with you on your iPad is the only reason to download this app, but they haven't actually pulled it off. I hope they do, though, because I teach ukulele and I would pay (not too much, though) for an app that actually did this. As it is, after you go to all of the trouble of charting out your songs on the website, they aren't usable on your iPad unless you print them out as PDFs and import them into ForScore, which is okay, but you lose the ability to transpose on the iPad. There are some other nit-picky things like If you want several versions of a song (beginner, intermediate, and advanced, for instance) you have to build each one from scratch since you can't duplicate a song in your library. And when you are building custom chords there really isn't room to put a fret number next to a barre chord and when you do use fret numbers they are so small that you can't really tell what number they are. But I could live with these things if the chord charts and words just matched up correctly on the iPad. I've posted on their board several times, but received no response. I guess for now I'll just continue to use their web app to chart the songs in different keys and playing levels and export them as PDFs into ForScore. But I'm really rooting for them because when they get it right, it will be a killer music app and, no doubt, an app that many people will gladly pay for.
