Sporcle Lite

I am a long- time Sporcler who not only paid to upgrade Sporcle Lite to the full version, but who also invested in every game pack save Sports. This program, IMO, worked perfectly until the developers started fiddling around with it a few months ago. Since June it has been revised SIX times, and they STILL haven't been able to get it right. I was very very upset when the first of the updates deleted all of my game packs without providing a way to restore them, so I was quite relieved when this most recent update announced that the game packs can now be restored. But guess what? The update doesn't work! I tap on "Restore Purchases" and nothing happens other than a "Restoring purchases" message that revolves on and on and on for about 15 minutes, whereupon I am asked to re-enter my password and then the freezing process begins again. I am lucky that I never updated the program on one of my older devices so I still have access to my game packs on an iPhone that I really don't use for anything else. But this is just a stop-gap measure. Sporcle, YOU NEED TO FIX THE FIXES ONCE AND FOR ALL, And if you ever do, please remember when considering future updates: if it ain't broke, don't fix it!
