eTextbooks for the iPad

Coursesmart is the most important app on my iPad, yet it's the worst app also. I can't make one good thing about this app.

You can't even sign in

I liked this app just fine except for one continued problem with it. You stream the books you read so you need a wifi connection. You have the option to download it so you can view it when not connected, which I did since I read a lot for school and am not always with wifi. It for some reason my book was in-downloaded and it will not let you download it again. The only way to fix this is to call the support team and have them reset the account and then reinstall the app on the device and redownload it, OMG! What a hassle, glad that's over. But then it un-downloaded it again 2 or 3 weeks ago and I am still waiting on support t resolve this issue soI can redownload it. Needless to say my class is over this week so I will no longer need the book after that and I will not be using this app again after that.

But needs Retina support!

I really like the convenience this app gives me of being able to have all my books on my iPad, but the features are definitely a work in progress. The annotation features are not convenient at all because the written notes are not clear and the highlighting is too broad and nonspecific. Also, the log in is a struggle. Fix these and I will be more likely to use this app more in the future. The computer reader is pretty good. You can transfer some ideas from there.
