Buyer Beware Buyer BewareI bought this before reading the most recent reviews. The older reviews are positive and I wasted money. This app sort of works with OS 10.10.3 Yosemite and a late 2013 MacBook Pro. When using it as a 2nd monitor, it defaults as your main monitor and response time is slow. That also means that if you want to use your laptop to do work and have a reference window open on the iPad you have to move a lot of windows. As I said, the cursor response time on the iPad is very slow so don’t plan on doing any real work. Interestingly, when my MacBook is connected to my Cinema Display I can configure any of the 3 monitors as my main monitor, just not when the Cinema Display is not connected.

no yosemite support no yosemite supportit is great app for the price and ipad1 owners. but not optimized for Yosemite. really slow. It was much better with Mavericks or older OS.

Only monitor option for iPad1 Only monitor option for iPad1I enjoyed Displaypad,but it’s not optimized for Yosemite. On Yosemite Displypad slows down my system severely, and that was not the case in Mavericks. If you’re using an iPad 1, and an older version of OS X, then Display pad might be for you. If you have upgraded to Yosemite, then maybe it is time to move you iPad 1 to the coffee table as an E-reader

looks good on paper but buyer be ware looks good on paper but buyer be wareIn a word: crap. I'd like my $3 bucks back please cause I don't think I'll ever use this App. Constant connection failures. It's so slow it's painful and too tiny to see on the iPad. Also there is no way to change which direction you're mouse enters from the computer limiting how you set it up.
