Cox Home Security

It won't win App of the Year, but Cox has a stable app that works for basic home security needs. I rarely have issues. It allows me to turn on/off zones and set/disarm my system from anywhere. I don't need much else.

This app is super easy to use and I've yet to encounter a problem while using it!! I like that I can check/set the alarm after I walk out!

Since the update my wife and I both have trouble connecting to the system with tis app. It worked fine before the update. We just got home and neither of us could connect. We both rebooted our iPhones just to see if that would help. Did not work. I went in and ran to the control pad which is not near the front door and turned it off. After coming into the house we were both able to connect. Very frustrating! Update 10-06-2014 The app started to work like it is supposed to about a week ago. I have no problems now. I don't know what Cox did but but the app works great now for both my wife and I. I am a happy Cox customer once again!

The app malfunctions. It has been deleted and reinstalled. It will not function.

Am sorry we signed a 3yr contract. Cannot log in most of the time by phone-that was one of the Pro's of going with Cox. PLEASE fix this! Am investigating breaking contract because not performing as promised.
