Let down by the pointless games Let down by the pointless gamesOk, so a perfectly good dictionary and saves me having to lug around my paper version when I’m away from home, but seriously - who when developing this thought it made sense to make all the games in English? Surely you’d expect anyone buying this book to be a student of Irish? The games were one of the selling points for the app, so I can’t help but feel a little disappointed with the developers on this

Love it! Love it!I love having an electronic Irish dictionary to study with from my iPhone.

Leprechaun approved! Leprechaun approved!Great dictionary for the price, lists a decent amount of entries and examples. Everything basic you need to learn Irish Gaelic. Still, I would like conjugations for verbs and declensions for nouns and adjectives (if possible).

The games? The games?Seems like quite a good dictionary. But for £6.99, surely tere must be some plan in the pipeline to translate the games into Irish, no? If so, they would represent a really engaging way of consolidating Irish vocabulary. Otherwise, games conducted purely in the English language are utterly pointless to a student of Irish.

good dictionary, bad games good dictionary, bad gamesGood Irish dictionary. This app loses one star because the "games" aren't very useful. The words in the games only appear in English and there does not appear to be a way to change them use Irish which makes the games useless for trying to improve your Irish.
