This app is exactly what it says on the tin and a great resource for newcomers to classical music and seasoned listened alike. However, for the price I feel the interface is a let down. It is awkward and lacklustre. The addition of a progress bar so one can skip forward/backward in each piece and see where abouts one is at is sorely needed! It is also necessary for an update so the music can be played in the background, the absence of these features brings what could be a great app down. With an update it could be five stars.

j'ai achete bc de app de musique classique. mais cet app est la meilleure!!! j'ai achete 1ere volume aussi. le son est parfait! et il y a bc de musique aussi. je suis musicien. (guitare classique) je connais tres bien la musique classique. je peux vous dire que cet app est la meilleure de musique apps!!! Hahaha!! je suis tres content.

Awesome buy! Awesome buy!

The amount of tracks and composers that are on this app is outstanding! The quality is a little low sometimes, there is a bit of noise in-between silences, but overall the music sounds good. It would be nice to have an option to see the track length (time from start to finish) and be able to skip to different parts of a track if wanted to (like when listening to an iPod). It would also be nice to have more information on the composer, the tracks, and which orchestra performed them in these recordings. If this app could play in the background that would be pretty useful too. I love classical music and this app definitely has a great selection of some of the best composers. For $.99 its a great buy, I highly recommend it!

Excellent application that I am happy that I bought. Small downside : unable to easily determine the song currently playing in shuffle mode. An upcoming version of the application should include a remedy for this defect, as separate window in the screen with the song being played ?
