Great app! Changed the way I teach for the better! Great app! Changed the way I teach for the better!Really like the app, it was super easy to import all of my classes (5), works well with data collection in various forms… I would love to see an iPad version though. It would allow me to see an entire class, rather than 9-10 students at a time. I haven’t exported the data as of yet, so I will update my review when I get some more experience with the app and all of its features. Update: Now that I have used the app for a few weeks I can safely say it is the best app I have ever downloaded for education. I teach middle school science and history, and have used the app effectively for both. For my history class it allows me to EASILY grade comments made during socratic seminars. The most drastic change has been in my science class. I use the app to call on students randomly in class. The developer has an entire system this is to be used for, which I do not use. Specifically I do not project the app on the board. I have also incorporated a disciplinary aspect to it with my science students, as well as a class competition aspect. Students answer questions when called on randomly and I grade their response using the ABCD input methods. Additionally if a student does something particularly great I give them a + and if a student does something not so great (distracting the class, etc) I give them a -. After a set period of time I total all of the scores for the class and the winning class decorates the room in their class colors!!!! The students love it, they are WAY more prepared for class now, and test scores have actually gone up! I have already recommended this app to my entire DISTRICT. With that said, I do have a couple things to say about possible improvements. 1. IPAD VERSION!!!! This would be huge when using the select a student method. Rather than having to scroll I could easily see an entire class on the larger iPad screen. 2. Let me edit a students record after the fact. The app has an undo button if you accidentally hit the wrong button, but you cannot go back and change a record after you have moved on. 3. The app has great customizability regarding the actual point value each button is worth. I would like to be able to rename the buttons on the report though. I use the + and - buttons as disciplinary data collectors, so renaming them on the report would be nice. 4. Having a way to switch between the “select” method and the “random” method, while using either one would be nice as well. As it is now, you have to back track out of the screen you are using, and drill into the other one. For example: If I am using the random option I have wanted to call on a specific student for disciplinary reasons (they had started talking with their neighbor) and as it is now, I have to drill out of the random section, drill into the select section, drill out of the select section after I call on the specific student, and drill back into the random section. This obviously disrupts the flow of the class. 5. Give me some filtering options in the scores screen. I would really like to be able to easily filter by more than just scores and name. For example number of responses, or number of incorrect responses. 6. How about an option to use the +/- buttons and the ABCD buttons independently to collect different types of data, and thus generate two different reports. 7. Lastly, the app aggregates an average score. I would like to be able to switch between that and a total points earned system. Again, an AWESOME APP!!!! I definitely recommend using it, and will continue to recommend using it whether or not the above mentioned suggestions are implemented.

Best app out there Best app out thereAll other apps have useless animations between picking students or work slowly. This one has no lag at all. Any downtime waiting for an app is a class killer so that alone makes me feel this app is well worth the cost.
