I've just started using this app, and have completed only the first chapter. I'm a little uncomfortable at how poorly some of the sentences read, over simple matters such as the author's inability to properly (or even consistently) use dashes for interjections. Many times, a single "-" is used — without space — between words, while other times you'll encounter an easier-to-parse "--", so that you may well encounter a sentence like this: Expressions of thought-like this one here -- is common. How many people had to fight the inclination to parse "thought-like" as a standalone term? In fact, the only clue that the whole sentence isn't some overlooked copy error is the use of the double-dash a few words later... Which, by the way, ought to be an em-dash — like that. This may seem like little matters to some, but this whole app's value proposition rests on the reading material. These guys *really* need to show greater care for its quality.
