The Canada Sales Tax App is a simple and easy to use app for calculating the ubiquitous sales taxes in Canada. From an easy to use interface, it calculates GST, HST and/or PST depending on your Province. Either select manually from a list or automatically from your current location.
Add multiple items to calculate the total for an entire list. Want specifics? Select the item to see a tax breakdown. When dealing with large amounts of items, set the name and quantity to help manage the list effectively.
When tax rates change, the updated rates can be downloaded without the need to update the app. For special local rates, add a new location and choose whether or not to include GST and if tax on tax applies.
In a restaurant no more guessing the amount to leave as a gratuity, use the tip function to calculate the servers’ tip! Discounts and tips can be calculated as both percentages and amounts. Simply tap the row to change.
