  • Breadcrumb is OK.
We were really excited to switch from our sluggish, unreliable, unattractive POS. Breadcrumb is definitely an improvement. Sort of? I can’t tell. Customer service is temperamental. Courteous, but passive-aggressive and not the most helpful. All questions will be answered with a link to a tutorial video that is about 30 minutes too long. Servers don’t want to watch videos about how to serve customers. They claim that it’s made by people in the service industry. I highly doubt that. So many tiny things that are extremely frustrating. You just have to get used to it. You’ll look back and think “$299/month and $6000 later… It won’t kill me. At least I have a job. I guess?” The app works. It’s slow. The reports are GREAT but they take forever to load. It isn’t as “intuitive” as they shout from the rooftops, and all questions will be answered in an extremely robotic manner where they then link you to a website. COOL. Do your research. They aren’t very up front about… well, anything.

  • The future is here
I can now look into my sales and performances for my business without having to physically be there. I also receive friendly and helpful support every time I call or email them. My staff love that they can use ours or their iPad at work to take orders and payments.

  • Owner/operator
Breadcrumb Pro likes to crash system wide on Friday and Saturday nights. This has happened 3 times in the last 7 months. When it crashes, everyone's system goes down. It has easily cost me thousands of dollars. I would steer clear until they figure out a backup plan.

  • Great until you run into your first problem
Delayed my funding, and then closed my account, as usual no explanation warning or notification prior to abrupt closure. Thanks for service, I was absolutely looking for another app to waste my time.

  • Buyer Beware
I can't even begin with the emails. I decided to decline their services because they kept asking way too many personal questions for a no risk no contract claim. I read these reviews after I got an email telling me my answers basically was not good enough. (my biggest worry is these people have a copy of my DL and Bank info and SSN, I will be calling my bank to warn them of a possible scam and the BBB) I chose not to offer my business because honestly, they have not had a solid review from real customers and asked way too much before you could even start the app. I am a small cash based business (artist). I already have another option to take credit cards but this company had a lower rate and I was looking to expand. So I applied. Yeah... screw that. It all sounds great until you are a so called high risk. What risk is there? You use their service, they pay you minus their fee......and they have your personal information before they approve/disapprove you.... I flat out told them I am going to stick with my paypal which is a reputable company over them. I was taking a chance but they were not... 2 words.... "buyer beware"..... I am going to have to call up every outlet to make sure my identity does not get stolen from these people.
