BOOM Chinese Basic

Unable to purchase books. Connection times out. China firewall?

Not so much free content and about 5 to 10 times what I would be willing to pay. If you buy the four main top level topics you're in for $32! Too rich for my blood!

I looked at a few Chinese study Apps, but this one has everything I need. Pros: -LOTS of free content, in-App purchase if I want more -Well organized; Topic, Dialog, Vocabulary, Reading, Substitutions, Flashcards, and Dictionary -Book and Module quiz that saves my last few tries, shows my progress and weakness -All content has English, Pinyin, and Chinese characters, can turn them on and off -All content has touchable MP3s, tap it and it plays -Four separate levels with different levels of content – Beginner and Basic -They also have books and web study that match the same content Cons: -A couple of typos and mismatches between text and audio – but not much -It takes a while to download – because it has so much content -Dictionary is good, could be better
