Ars Logica Lite

This is my new go-to game. It's not really like sudoku, but requires the same kind of deductive reasoning. The bigger grids would be better on a desktop than my iPad, and I wish the pop-up box didn't have to cover part of the puzzle (you can move it around, though), but it's still five-star fun. Well done!

Fantastic puzzle game! Beautiful playing board and intuitive user interface. I would love to see a way to track what I've done beyond just time spent - maybe in an update?

Great fun plus good cognitive stimulation. Wonderful for making cross country flights go quickly.

This game has similarities to Sudoku but improves on it by using more than just numeric symbols. It is a logic game where clear thinking and the ability to remember are important. It is fun to play and addictive, but not as addictive as some other games. Ars Logica is particularly challenging if you do not use the game’s ability to keep track of entries which have been eliminated from a row or column. I can often solve a 4x4 puzzle in this mode but only rarely a 5x5. For real puzzle enthusiasts, 6x6 and higher in this mode will provide a serious memory challenge. The game screens are well-designed and the use of hints makes learning to play quite easy. Overall, a great game!
