Entertaining and informative Entertaining and informativeIf you are like me and not only want to be informed about a potential travel site, but also want to be entertained, get tips like a local, and find out what to do AND what not to do, this is the app for Antarctica. This app has all of that and more, including pictures that would make National Geographic jealous. I absolutely love the personal stories that make you laugh and educate you at the same time. Since i have not been there before, I really appreciated the links that were provided. For me they were at the exact places where I wanted some additional background info. This app is entertaining enough even if you are not considering a personal visit. A very solid thumbs up!

Educational and entertaining Educational and entertainingHaving known the charismatic protagonist and unabashed troublemaker my whole life, and finding out that the Filipino staff also called him Uncle Bob, made the essays not only educational but quite entertaining. The descriptions and accounts, along with the photos, took me there in my mind - since I probably won't ever make the journey in person, it is probably the closest I'll ever get to Antarctica (until maybe the next family reunion). I thought the added history lessons were very well infused into the telling of this journey, enough to help you understand that it isn't just "oh how pretty", but is also "oh how historic". I thoroughly enjoyed the app and recommend it to anyone, whether they plan on traveling to Antarctica or not.

Another enjoyable travel app Another enjoyable travel appLike the Grand Canyon app before it, the Antarctica app from Josara media takes you on an adventure to a part of the world you never thought you'd see. The app follows Robert Flynn as he and his grandson as they travel through Antaractica and boy does this app make you feel jealous of them. The pictures are breathtaking, the descriptions of their trip are fascinating and th app itself is easy to use. There is a lot of detail put into this and I enjoyed reading through this app from Josara media, just like I did with their Grand Canyon app.
