The app is ok, but not leading edge, my biggest complaint would be iPhone only, am I the only airnz flyer who uses an iPad, I suspect not.

This app sux balls. "Search for place" is primitive and restricted to major NZ, Australian and some South Pacific Islands. Does not allow for the widely used, internationally assigned, 3-letter airport code. AirNZ is supposed to be one of the better long haul carriers and had a multitude of locations they actually fly to. This app is a very poor representation of the AirNZ brand and they should be ashamed to be associated with it in it's current state - so much for kiwi ingenuity...

Good, But could be better. Good, But could be better.

The Air NZ app is a pretty good app overall. It does what it says on the box. My only gripe is the lack of passbook support. The app tracks your location on the day of the flight, Which is fine. However it doesn’t really do anything useful with that location apart from giving you transit / Weather information, Which is sometimes useful. Would much rather it use it to find what ticket you need to have open or something else. Would love to see this app have passbook integration, so that the ticket displays on the lock screen when its time to board. As it can be a bit of a hassle to find the app and get the ticket ready in a brief moment.
