4oD is free to download and hosts a wide selection of programmes from Channel 4, E4 and More4. This content is available to watch free of charge, with no limit to the amount you can watch. Streaming is accessible via WiFi networks in UK and Ireland. All downloaded content can be viewed offline and abroad but downloading is only available in UK and Ireland, over WiFi. Channel 4 has an extensive library of programmes (including both classic shows and more recent programmes that have dropped out of our 30-day catch up ‘window’). Unfortunately, it’s not possible to bring you all of this content via this app – but a selection is currently available. We will continue to extend this range.

Due to Channel 4’s agreements with content owners, we aren’t able to support jail broken devices.

4oD is only supported on iOS 6.1 and above. This means that older generation devices are not supported, including iPad 1, iPhone 3G and 2nd generation iPod Touch.

Using Airplay or HDMI requires specific rights, which we don't currently have for all of our content. As our rights come up for renewal this is something we are seeking to address wherever possible.
