  • Great, but...
Ok, I actually really love this app. They have great clothes at great prices (most of the time) but there's no way to refresh things. If you've left the app on for a few days and bring it back up, nothing works. Sometimes nothing will work regardless of what you do. You just have to close the app and come back later. Fix this stuff and u get 5 stars from me. Update: Now the app won't load the sales. For the last 2 days, it's been giving me nothing but errors. Please fix!

  • Irritating App...no more
Update: I'll give Nordstrom props where props are due. This update is a vast improvement over the formerly outdated app it replaced. Most of my issues seem to have been addressed. Time will tell with the sizing issue. And I won't know about the checkout process since all my info's been added. Contrary to what another reviewer said, all the items I've viewed have a material makeup at the bottom of the page. Definitely on par with Gilt and MyHabit. All 3 ways to view items are bad. Side to side takes too long. 3 columns pictures are too small to know what things are without a brief description. Up and down provides brief description but even smaller pictures. One you bring up the item, you can't zoom in on the picture so you can see more detail because the resolution is so small. Enlarging it just leaves you with a pixilated view. Also, it doesn't tell you what color the item is supposed to be, you just have to trust your iPhone to give you an exact representation. The sizing chart also didn't have the American size equivalent listed for the turtleneck I bought. I had to do some of my own research to find out it was a medium. It was also a confusing checkout process of tapping on things multiple times. We'll see what happens with shipping. It should NOT be this difficult to order a simple black turtleneck.

  • Outstanding company and app (please read)
Update: Though the company remains great as ever, the app can be a little irritating. It used to be that when it loaded up, you could see the new sales grouped into labels, brands, or some descriptor, like most other flash sale apps. Now, if you go to what's new, it shows you each and every individual item. I don't have time to scroll down through the 100+ quilts that might be new in order to find other things that will interest me. Please fix. To start, the app and selection are awesome. There's so much cool stuff to look at and it's usually priced to sell. What has basically sent me over the edge of happiness with Fab is their customer service. I ordered a pair of jeans a couple weeks ago and 2 weeks later, I was still waiting for them. I wasn't too worried about it, but while I was ordering a new item I decided to do a little research. The tracker I ended up looking at said the shipment was cancelled and gave no explanation. Annoyed, I checked my email to see if they'd tried to get in touch and there was nothing. So I emailed them and within 12 hours they responded back, telling me they miscounted the items and had emailed me about it, copy and pasting the original message in which it said they've given me a $10 credit on top of my refund. Apparently the original message got lost in cyberspace. All I could think was: Wow. Store credit for the store's blunder? How many businesses do that these days? And without me even saying anything! Fab has earned my loyalty.

  • Just ok...
I'm a guy and this was featured in the App Store for men's fashion. Yet I find only about 1 in 10 of the sales has to do with men. And sometimes that sale will include women and kids, too. With no way to separate the sales by gender or department and so few sales for men (most of which are featured on other apps as well) I'm hard pressed to find a reason to keep this app.
