  • #1 Source of Surreal Pinballing
The Zen tables are great! While Pinball Arcade might be the best simulator of real tables, leave it to Zen Studios to create the best surreal pinball experiences with your favorite comic book or Star Wars characters joining in the fun. Seemingly believable physics in tables that could never exist in the real world.

  • Barry's Back!
Barry is back in all new hijinks! Halfbrick has taken the concept of Monster Dash's Machinegun Jetpack and made a whole game around it! An inventive endless runner with buckets of missions to complete in order to earn coins and purchase fun accessories.

  • Ready to trip out, man?
There have been a zillion "Tap & Fly" games in the AppStore over the years but there is something unique about this one. The dot trails and cloud formations feel organic (not just like you're moving from one pre-defined area to the next) and the control is very intuitive. I also love how the multiplier works a bit like your lives as well...as long as you can keep your belly full and your multiplier high you'll keep afloat.

  • How far will your Ninja Skills take you up the building?
It is a free ad supported game (banner ads constantly playing along the top but for a $1 IAP you can disable them) that while incredibly simple in concept is a blast to play. Your ninja is scaling up ether the left or right side of the alley wall and a tap of the screen will have you leaping across to the other wall. During this leap you're invulnerable to baddies but should any of them touch you while just scaling the wall on either side it is GAME OVER! Where the game gets artsy, IMHO, is the cool "Made Slot Machine Jackpot" aspect. Whenever you kill a baddy by leaping on it (be it a fellow ninja, bird, or squirrel) you'll get a little image of that baddy down in the lower left corner and if you manage to hit that same baddy type 3x in a row you'll get a very cool temporary height boosting effect (like turning into a squirrel for a few seconds with three squirrels). The nasty catch being the moment you hit another type of opponent while shooting for one of these transformations, your progress is lost and the cycle not restarts from scratch with the new baddy symbol. Therefore this will often lead you to actively trying to dodge but NOT KILL the different types of opponents not in the set you're shooting for (sure, it would be so easy to squash that bird but that would screw up my squirrel combo so I'll just try and avoid him). As you get higher the enemies become more frequent and your ninja will be climbing up much faster. Your score is the height you reach before you die (the game not only tracks your top local score but you can post it on Twitter, Facebook, or even see where you currently stand in the global rankings via Open Feint).
