Words With Friends Free

A good game but getting slower and slower to load.

I play against my kid, who lives on the opposite side of the country. It is a fun way to keep in touch. My biggest gripe is with the increasing lag in getting to the game board with all this social media stuff. Can't there be a setting to just turn off all that stuff, along with the selection panel for games I don't play that showed up in the most recent update The overhead is getting pretty annoying.

Solitaire

I play this a lot more than is good for me.

Well done game. Responsive. After the last update, it lost track of where I was in the "random" order and repeated about 15 games. That was annoying. Also there's a bug if your wireless hub is working in-house but isn't connected to the outside Internet. Then the game acts very strangely - appears to freeze and restarts in the middle and stuff. The ads are annoying but do contribute to making it addictive to play as you rush to skip the ad and then rush on to play the new game instead of stopping.

Doodle Buddy - Paint, Draw, Sc

New version went the wrong direction for me

Oh too bad. The nice little doodling sketch application disappeared with this new version. Now the app leaves the picture covered with a "box" for entry of the last tool being used. Clumsy. Ugly. I don't want all this sharing nonsense. My doodles are my business only. Now I can't have fun drawing them plus they look lame. what happened? I don't get it at all. Oh well. Delete that one.

Yup. Does the timing, rings the bell. Very straightforward. Of course I can imagine more things I'd like or more ways to use it but it works fine now. And runs on my very old iOS, which is important. -What if there were a very simple "tick" as one of the sound options. -What if you could save an alternate set of options to make it faster to switch between types of sessions. -What if you could say how many intervals you wanted instead of how long to make the interval. Then you could change the overall length of the session without having to do the math to change the interval as well.

Very interesting game! Very interesting game!

Sometimes I wish I could undo the last move! I wish it kept some kind of score history locally. I don't do social media or game center so I don't know if it keeps scores for people. It would be more motivating for me to be able to see just my basic history for each type of game - overall score and level would be fine. The scoring is pretty basic. It would be interesting to have a mode where you got more points for using rarer letters, like many of the word games do.
