Useless-- "free" app, hope you don't mind paying to avoid the watermarks though!

Okay, for real, I'm 31 with a Masters degree and this app makes me feel like an old lady trying to use a computer for the first time. Feels like 50% of the time I click on an alert and it never actually leads to an article. What exactly am I doing wrong, here?
