  • Everything a feed reader should be
Because of pulse I now use my iPad everyday to catch up on news and entertainment during my lunch break. It's the most used app on my iPad.

  • Super duper pooper
Great app, love integration w iOS contacts and text notification separate from iPhone messages app. Freezes regularly, requiring closing the app and relaunching. Fix that and it gets 5 stars.

  • Photo upload needs work
I give this app 2 stars for its lack of photo functionality. There is no way to upload high quality photos as can be done in the full browser version of FB. Selecting multiple images for upload to a single album is frustrating and time consuming. Also there does not appear to be any way to caption each photo before upload. Batch photo uploads should be handled the way they're handled on iPhone: checkmark photos while browsing the camera roll, caption each shot individually, tag faces & places if desired. Facebook for iPad is fine for browsing and checking the news feed. It needs work in the photo upload process.

  • Keeps me honest
4 years ago, when lose it first came out, it helped me to lose ~15lbs simply by counting my calories. Since then I've put some of that weight back on and I'm using lose it again. The app is the same as I remember it but with some great new features, the most useful of which is a barcode scanner. Scan any package and it knows what you're eating! Stick to the program the app makes for you and you'll lose weight. Give it a try! I'm on iOS 6 (iPhone 4 & iPad 3) and haven't run into any problems.

  • More helpful than expected
This is a simple app useful as a reference for club locations & hours, class times, membership status, and payment receipts. You can also edit your account details (contact info) and reserve training or racquetball times. I have not tried to make reservations yet. To log in you will need your membership tag and your zip code at the time of joining. I go to LA Fitness infrequently and am a member. For me this is a useful app because I don't have the hours and class schedule memorized. There are an incredible number of reviews that do not address the app itself, but rather leave one star reviews as a protest for conditions at a specific local club or frustration with management. I'll give this app 5 stars once Passbook integration is included.
