  • Ok
Decent games... Just a large number of mediocre time killers.

  • Best Tennis App
The feel and look of the game is really better than any other I've tried. The gameplay is very responsive. Great app.

  • April Fools??
Is it me? I just played a mission and all of a sudden the enemies mowed me down in short order! Each time I got shot, I lost something like 15 health, and the shots came so fast I was dead within a minute of getting of my first shot. Then I did the mission again with the same results. Since the enemies have NEVER hit with this kind of intensity and I'm still at a lower level (7)... I'm guessing either they jacked up the difficulty level of the game for good, or it's just an April Fools thing.

  • Let Down
I don't really understand why there was a sudden need to separate podcasts from the native IOS Music app, but I probably wouldn't have minded so much if it functioned the same... But, this Podcasts app is honestly a terrible offering from Apple. I've found that the tile format is clunky, slow, and adds nothing to my podcast experience. The need to now have to "subscribe" to a podcast before being able to view their archive is a needless extra step to scope out possible new podcasts and then once you've subscribed it become quite confusing as to which ones are downloaded and which are just archived (maybe it would be easier if you would list the downloaded files at the top and THEN show the rest that are available). It would be slightly easier if the blue dots were a little more accurate but they same very glitchy (sometimes coming up after having already listened to a file). The other troubling issues have been the extremely slow downloads for new files and the amount of battery power this app seems to eat. I would assume that both these issues have to do with inefficient coding. I'm not a programmer, but have noticed that the sloppier apps naturally take more juice to run while the streamlined apps that are done with skill and care sip power conservatively. At present I've compared Pandora streaming music to Podcasts playing downloaded files and have found them to drain the battery in a similar fashion... It's pretty bad when downloaded podcasts eat up as much power as streaming music over Wifi (and 3g). I will gladly raise this rating if and when all the problems with this app are addressed. (Hopefully soon)

  • Latest update issue
I would easily give this app 5 stars as I use it daily without incident, but there seemed to be some audio problem with the latest update. It listed one of the improvements being to listen to audio from the connected computer. I tried that by playing a file while connected and the audio did not come through. This was not a major issue in itself, but a few minutes later, I started playing a song on the music player and the playback sounded terrible as if the speaker on my iPhone 4 was damaged. It sounded very tinny with a bunch of reverb garbling the song. I shut down the Team Viewer app in the background (only app running in background) and tried playing another song. The same thing happened. Then I restarted the phone and played another song and the audio sounded normal again. This leads me to the conclusion that the new audio update from Team Viewer would have to logically be the culprit. The audio component didn't work when trying it out AND other audio apps on the phone didn't function properly afterwards. So, I hope this issue can be resolved in a new update right away, as I enjoy using this app. Thanks
