Totally brilliant - just download it and check it out Totally brilliant - just download it and check it outI've been around Macs for several years, but have picked up so many useful tips and shortcuts from this. It works for all levels, from complete beginners upwards. I love the controls for skipping forward and back as well as jumping around the different chapters. It's a pleasure as well, to listen to a British accent for a change. I will definitely be purchasing some of the other tutorials in the series. Many thanks.

An Absolute MUST for new Mac Users An Absolute MUST for new Mac UsersLike tens of thousands of others, I've been increasingly fed up with Microsoft Windows, and although concerned about the effort to convert to a Mac, I finally took the plunge and bought a MacBook Pro. I already have the iPhone and iPad (and I'm delighted with the Mac). The problem is - you've got to learn so much new stuff like "What's a Alt, Command, Control key", and really basic stuff like - "Where's the file manager?". Well - this App (and the corresponding set of online videos (purchased separately) is the answer - and it's INVALUABLE. The App is effectively a video - which displays an Apple Desktop, while "Don" (the author), describes the OS Lion features including:- o How to navigate around, start applications, open/close windows o What the Fn, Control, Option (Alt) and Command keys do. eg. How to Cut, copy and paste etc o What "guestures" are available - two finger swipe up/down to scroll, left/right in Safari to browse history. o How to install applications (both from the App Store and 3rd Parties) o How to de-install applications (Amazingly - you literally delete the icon - and it's gone) o Rather usefully - which Apps or programs he'd recommend you install (eg. DashKards) - always good advice from a trusted source o How to set up an iCloud account, and set up and use mail And I'm only about half way through In fact, so far, pretty much everything you'd need to get you started. What I liked about this App/Video:- o The descriptions are well paced - good enough for a novice - but you can quickly fast-forward 30 seconds or speed it up if it's too slow o The explainations are thorough, and highlight tips in Lion that a seasoned Mac User would miss o The author has a pleasingly down to earth style, and a relaxed approach Who is this for? I'd recommend if you're new to a Mac - this is an absolute MUST BUY. I'm sure even if you've used a Mac for a couple of years you'll get something out of it - but you'd maybe better off looking at the "New Features" App instead. As a new to Mac user - Highly Recommended !
