Deceptive DeceptiveI spent several minutes setting up a series of renaming rules only to have the app prompt me at the end that I must purchase premium content in order to proceed. This deception is unacceptable. It shouldn’t have let me setup rules that are “premium” features in the first place - instead clearly showing premium content in another area.

Does nothing until you add in-app purchases Does nothing until you add in-app purchasesI spent a good 15 minutes forming an ideal filename structure for my images. I then tried to rename them and was presented with a screen asking for at least £5 of in-app purchases to do the renaming I wanted. Annoying thing is, I would have happily paid up front if the true cost was shown when I downloaded the app.

Easy and Fast Easy and FastI was looking for a simple way to rename photo files - this works perfectly, although I had to spend 99 cents to get the Search and Replace option. I have tried other programs and spent at least 99 c for lite versions that did not have the string Search and Replace option. This program has the advantage that you can pick whatever features you need instead of paying for a bunch of features you don’t want.

Simples assim! Simples assim!No Windows renomear arquivos em lote, como fotos por exemplo, sempre foi muito fácil. Agora no Mac sempre foi uma dificuldade, não sei porque. Uma vez fui procurar e encontrei o Automator. Nunca mais usei. Agora com a atualização do Yosemite e usando o app Xtrafinder, encontrei a opção de renomear arquivos. Como parei por aqui pode se deduzir que pelo menos eu não achei intuitivo, isso se possível. Instalei este app e, finalmente, consegui o meu intuito básico.
