Rules are WRONG! Rules are WRONG!

I have played pente for most if my life and NEVER has it EVER been permissible to place a stone wherever you wanted on the board. Of course this app seems too easy: IT'S BECAUSE THE RULES ARE WRONG. If played correctly, stones can only ever be placed ***adjacent*** to other stones. FIX THE APP! It's no fun this way.

Bad! Computer cheats. Bad! Computer cheats.

As someone else said when computer captures your two stones it takes both, but when you capture it's only one is removed. Played one game and deleted it.

Pente is a fun and challenging board game where two players battle each other by placing opposing stones at free intersections of the board. The objective of the game is to place five stones in a row horizontally, vertically, or diagonally, or to capture 5 pairs of enemy stones.
