Rubbish - paid advertising ! Rubbish - paid advertising !This is rubbish, I have owned the app for some time the suggestions given must be just paid advertising as you suggest restaurants that are 20+ miles away! There are many good local restaurants but I cannot find one of them using this app. Not worth the price or bother !

My first choice for picking restaurants My first choice for picking restaurantsMFG was the first restaurant guide I bought for my iPhone and it's still my first port of call two and a half years on The restaurant descriptions are informative and accurate in the vast majority of cases, though you do need to read between the lines. It should also be noted that this is a guide not a review service - more Good Pub Guide than Tripadvisor - so don't expect it to tell you explicitly where establishments fall down. Finally, I have come across a number of "reviews" which bear a striking resemblance to the text on the respective restaurants' websites. So overall I have no hesitation in recommending MFG to you, but do read carefully!

Really good App Really good AppHave used Hardens for ages, but got annoyed with its including franchises. Tried this and found some really nice eateries not included in Hardens and other review media. No hesitations in recommending.

Very reliable Very reliableWe use this a great deal and really have found some 'hidden gems' for lovely evenings out. The price guides are very accurate too - an app worth it's weight in gold!!!
