Stop crashing Stop crashingWish these mag apps would stop crashing all the time! You'd think they'd have figured out how to present a magazine efficiently on an iPad by now. Maximum PC as a magazine is great though! I wish it had a little more content as sometimes the magazine feels short, but otherwise great photos and editorials. I know they say a new website is coming, but it can't get here fast enough! They could be doing so much more if they had both the magazine and the website pumping out great content! I never understood why Maximum PC wouldn't incorporate videos etc. into the digital versions of the mag. Al la Wired. It's readers are tech savvy and would enjoy that cross over from site to page.

No tab-out save state or app options No tab-out save state or app optionsBeing as this app is Maximum PC, I expected a top-notch app right from the start with standard reading features. This is unfortunately not the case. The app does save your current page when you tab out, however when you tab back in the app automatically returns you to the Store page and you must reopen the issue you were previously reading. To top it off, there are no options to turn this off or do anything reader-related. If these issues were fixed it would be a 5-star app, but as it is this is an annoying oversight, especially for a paying subscriber.
