The ads ruin it The ads ruin itSwitched to a digital subscription thinking this would do the job. Many nice elements however the app is ruined by the overly intrusive ads that seem impossible to exit out of. Latest example was an iPhone 6 ad which was designed to show off the photography of the device. Swiping left and right brought more ad photo examples. The "tap at top for menu" function is disabled. I get that for a second or two but when you are scrambling around for a solid minute trying to get out of the freaking ad it gets more than frustrating. Exited out of the app. Hard closed it, opened it up again to find I am still in the ad. No thanks.

Good reading Good readingIf we can adjust front seize without zoom in or zoom out (I prefer larger front), this app will be perfect for reading Maclean's.

The better way The better wayThis definitely has to be the best way to read a magazine. So interactive and in-depth with all the extra content, videos, audio clips, photo slideshows, etc. Love it! The whole magazine looks better on iPad.

Generally good, too many different controls Generally good, too many different controlsThe layout is good and I got used to it quickly for basic reading. But then the paginated articles became continuous, portrait mode changed to landscape, I had to flick in various directions within frames. Too many different controls. It became a bit confusing knowing how to navigate. Sometimes get trapped on a page or within a control. Reign in the developers. Simplify the controls. There are two forms of multi page articles. One has individual pages and you must scroll completely between pages or they bounce back. Resize font for this page, scroll, font goes back to normal, must resize again. Other format is continuous, works better, but sometimes suddenly becomes paginated. Then scrolling becomes harder because there is no margin at top/bottom. Switching apps and coming back seems to fix it. It would be best if there was only one format (continuous) and it worked consistently.

Good but .... Good but ....I like the app very much like except when, for no discernible reason, I can't enlarge/ stretch the page so I can read the text. Sometimes the next article can be enlarged ... sometimes not. I switched from the print edition for the easy readability function among others ... please fix.
