Here's an update, but don't update. Seriously? Here's an update, but don't update. Seriously?I purchased earlier versions of this game, and now the developer had turned it into a free ad supported app. Developer suggests that if I don't want to see the ads, don't update. This means I will always have a reminder that at least one app needs updating, and I will always have a reminder that this developer has taken my (admittedly small amount of) money and downgraded my purchase. Existing customers should be upgraded to an ad-free version of the app (on which development could stop, I guess) and new customers get the ad-supported version. Or maybe the developer could refund the purchase price for those who ask, in which case, I'm asking ;-). As for the game itself, it's an enjoyable quirky little puzzle, and I've spent hours and hours with it! I do like The Line, but I don't like The Deal.

Wait a minute Wait a minuteSo if I paid for this game previously, and I don't want ads I'm supposed to not update this app and have a constant reminder that I have an app in need of updating? That's kinda screwed up.

Paid users now see ads Paid users now see adsThe latest update changed the app from paid to free-with-ads. If you paid for the app and in-app content, and you don't want to see ads all the time, the developer's solution is "don't update." Which means we can never Update All again! The free-with-ads version should have been a separate app, or should have included a "restore purchases" feature to remove ads.
