My absolute favorite kanji study app My absolute favorite kanji study appThis has to be my absolute favorite app for kanji study, other than the flashcard program I use for basic review. Games are quick, meaning you can finish a few rounds on the subway or between other activities. The UI and sounds are delightful. The fact that each game is so short, and the hint/color system, keep it fun even when you run into words that are new or challenging. As far as I'm concerned the only thing this app is missing is the way to import/purchase custom vocabulary lists, or to export the lists used by the app so that they can be studied for kanji production/writing from memory once you have recognition mastered in all directions covered by the app (meaning -> kanji, reading -> kanji)

Simple yet engaging Simple yet engagingThis app has helped me tremendously with the study and reading of Kanji. A great supplement for both casual or serious students and definitely well worth the small change for the full application.

Kanji Breakthrough Kanji BreakthroughA great app for doing Kanji drills. I especially like that they move beyond single Kanji (which really means multiple pronunciations and multiple meanings) and drill based on single meanings (with the same Kanji appearing in multiple words).

Too slow, can't play Too slow, can't playThe concept of this app it really great. I played the online version and likes it, so I decided to purchase the app. Upon playing the mobile version the first time, the reaction time of the app was so slow, and the lagging so great, that it just made the game unbearable. I have an iPhone 4S, and while not the newest, the app should be able to run smoothly on it. Too bad, hope they improve on this in the future because it had so much potential!
