Wonderful! Wonderful!This is a fantastic tool for vocabulary and kanji memorization. Like previous users, I was already had an intermediate comprehension of Japanese, and was looking for a way to study rather than an introduction to the language. This app is really perfect for that! I find myself using it whenever I have a few minutes, and I've learned a lot from it. It's fun, too! One suggestion: Add the option of studying from English to Japanese as well!

Finally, remember the kanji Finally, remember the kanjiI have been using this app for several years, and have gone from knowing very few kanji to knowing almost 3000 with just a few minutes each day. Every student of Japanese that I show it to embraces it enthusiastically. The algorithm it uses for determining when to show you new kanji, or to revisit kanji you've already learned is the most effective I've encountered in flip-card programs.

Waste of money Waste of moneyJust wasted $6 for no reason. I wish there was a lite version for free where i couldve tested it out before buying it... Basicly if u dont know japanese writing, u cant use this program. I thought the japanese words would be written with the english alphabet so i could pronounce it and learn the meanings. Can you refund me my money please?

Outdated since new exams. Outdated since new exams.As far as I understand the JLPT exams have been changed from 4 into 5. This is causing me lots of problems on this application. It's a great app. but it's useless to me unless I can precisely study the kanji I need. Please update it so it applies to the new exams. I think many other apps have been altered to suit new exams. Without a simple update this app cannot compete with others. When it is updated I will give it 5 stars for sure.

Highly recommend Highly recommendI am an advanced Japanese learner and I was getting frustrated with all the apps for beginners. Well this app would be great for any level learner. This is the first review I have ever written bc this is the first app I've found deserving one. Simple yet (or therefore) effective.
