* Heart Rate Zone Calculator *

* Heart rate from straps *
This application can get heart rate from a variety of different heart rate straps by using either the Wahoo Fitness, Runalyzer, or 60beat heart rate devices. This functionality requires the connectors which are sold separately.
In addition this app now has the ability to connect to bluetooth low energy heart rate straps on compatible devices. This functionality requires that you have an iPhone 4S or 3rd generation iPad. BTLE HR straps are sold by Wahoo fitness and Polar.
See www.logyourrun.com/iphone for list of compatible HR devices and straps.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
To get heart rate without a strap you will need to find your pulse on your wrist or neck. You can then either tap as you feel your pulse or count a preset number of heart beats. The app will calculate your current heart rate from the time and the number of beats.
