No better way to navigate Havana short of... No better way to navigate Havana short of...Moving there and living for at least a year. This app has excellent insider tips and information not easily found- let alone in one place. I love this app and the fact that you don't need to be online to use it. I recently went to New York and not one app for the city that never sleeps compares to this one app for Havana. I hope to see a version for other areas one day, but this app is perfect. With the last set of updates I can't wait to return to Cuba. I also enjoy the blog for one on the ground perspective (Here Is Havana).

So helpful! So helpful! This app helped me so much. I was able to get around and did a lot of interesting things that normally tourists would not do. It helped me save a ton of money on food, transportation, and lodging. Thanks for everything :)

Essential travel app Essential travel appThere are 3 essentials travel items when visiting Havana A passport, a visa and this app. Having cross referenced it against other guides (all outdated before they are even published) it was refreshing to see how current , well researched and simple to navigate this app is. With the fast pace of new private enterprises starting up , you need the insight somebody like Conner Gorry who actually lives in Cuba. From the overwhelming recommendations , we dined at La Guarida, El Coccinero and Cafe Laurent all superb, as was our stay at the Nacional Hotel . The interactive map and explanations how to find places was very helpful as advertising is not the Habaneros strong point. (You could be standing outside a restaurant and not even know it was there ) Attention to detail is superb with even suggestions on the best table/area to request in certain restaurants. I highly recommend the old 50s open top Gran Car 2 hour tour which covered all the city's exciting and diverse areas many not accessible by the package coach trips I cannot praise this app highly enough whatever your persuasion or interests are !

Most honest and respectful guide to HAV/Cuba around Most honest and respectful guide to HAV/Cuba aroundGreat for first-timers and returnees alike. I've been to Havana 7 times in the past two years, but this will is my first time consulting this app. I've stayed in hotels, casas, with family and with friends, and this app addresses questions that all types of travelers should be asking about how to visit in a way that allows us to connect with Cuba and Cubans. And though the piracy of the app in Cuba must be irritating for Conner, it's still a sign that Cubans themselves see that the information is valuable. And as a Cuban-American myself, I find the tone of the writing refreshing. Conner captures the beauty and passion of this place while avoiding the tired (and wrong and condescending) story lines of other guides, such as havana being wholly'trapped in a time warp'. This app is obviously written by someone who loves Cuba and is excited to share it with others. Typical Cuban attitude!
