Simple, but fun Simple, but funSingle player lacks an A.I. (you're enemy does not fire back) Hopefully, they will add one. The game is reminiscent of the game, "Scorched Earth," except it's in space. NOTE: the settings for this app are in the settings app, not within this app itself. A lot of programmers to that to save time: instead of having to create the settings user interface, they just supply a list of settings to the settings application, which has it's own user interface already (hope that makes sense).

Alright AlrightThe game that I downloaded was alright but it really has the chance to be a top seller. First of all make the ships bigger. Hitting someone feels like a 1/1000000 shot sometimes. Add a single person mode where you fight against a computer and/or a target challenge mode (set up a target at the end of some planets and see how many shots it takes to hit it). The shot trails are a nice touch but when you're trying to zero in on someone it looks like one big white line which doesn't help much. So have the 3rd 4th 5th... Shots get progressably darker so it's easy to see what was just shot. Maybe change the targeting system like it is in "Bowman" so you can see the target as you're lineing up your shot. If not the just remove the need to tap your ship to start the targetting (because it's so small that I end up moving the map most of the time). Also add a replay system so you can watch the last shot. Finally add a money/shopping system so you can buy different munitions. Do all of this and you'll have a hit on your hands.

Awesomely faithful to original Awesomely faithful to originalI played this game on the Amiga way back when...this is an awesome game, and an awesome reproduction on the iPhone. Of course I prefer the original method of typing in the velocity and direction of your missile, but the new interface on the iPhone for firing does a good job.
