Out of date and poor usability Out of date and poor usabilityThe data used in this app is very out of date. For example, under current bank accounts it lists Egg - a brand that was closed years ago. Usability of the app is terrible - it’s basically a collection of scanned images from the printed book that don’t fit the screen size so you have to swipe left, right, up and down to view the result tables. The navigation names are odd - Editorial links to the results tables. Some of the text doesn’t appear on some screens and it’s generally a very poor quality app. If you’re looking for good ethical resources, visit the Ethical Consumer website from your mobile device as their mobile version (not an app) is much, much better.

Good and Bad Good and BadVery helpful app but not quite as much as the book. Needs a lot of work done. Would greatly benefit from being up to date especially with very recent changes in chocolate companies. A search bar would be good to help people make decisions about what they're buying quicker. The explanations in the editorial sections could easily be cut down; there is no need for such lengthy explanations. However, despite these points I am in great support of the app. The consumer society we live in has needed guidance like this for a long time. People are willing to make ethical decisions and even sacrifices but it can all get a bit confusing sometimes. This app one of the first steps in us becoming a better society.

Excellent! Excellent!There may be the odd techy/ design issue but it's the quick and trusted ethical comparison info that it's all about. Great value too as the classic book is £14.99!

Good idea - poorly implemented Good idea - poorly implementedThis app is very much aimed at the UK market and apart from a few Pound symbols it makes no mention of this or the fact most businesses outside of the UK are not listed. There is no major search feature, no barcode scanning, and no regional support. I want a refund.
