Great starting point Great starting pointLast week I was offered a job in Frankfurt, and considering I didn't know any German, thought I should learn some before I make my way over. I've gone through about half of this course so far and I've been quite impressed. The lessons are quick and easy to understand so you don't need to set aside loads of time to go through them. And for only 2.99, it's great value. I'd recommend it to anyone wanting to pick up some basics. I assume they've fixed the issues with the volume, I have my volume set half-way and can hear it fine. However there are still a few glitches, particularly in the exercise sections, and not all German words are followed by a sound file which seems odd to me.

Pidgin Training Pidgin TrainingThese lessons do not teach adjective noun agreement, and barely mention the gender of the nouns. Heck, they barely mention adjectives. In fact, the audio doesn't even include the articles when pronouncing words. It also barely includes conjugation, which is important for anyone who wants to be able to use German to express a thought, question, or idea. It gives one example of present tense conjugation for one regular verb and doesn't mention anything else. It doesn't even show German verbs used in a sentence! Additionally, leaving out verbs like to be able to, to like, must, etc. will not enable anyone to communicate. The exercises are designed so poorly that completing them does not mean that the student will be able to correctly use or even understand the lesson material. Now I understand why there is no table of contents in the description and no free trial lesson. I want my money back.

Yeahme YeahmeVery good app. I am very satisfied with my purchase. However, the weekdays lesson ha an error with the exercises. The answers are incorrectly correct. If that makes any sense. e.g. The answer. Wenesday in German is not montag.
