Clued Up Free - Clue & Cluedo Board Game Solver

This app really has no use except for cheating. The free app isn't set up for the 2013 version. I really don't want to pay $1.99 to find out if the pro version doesn't have a use either. I was looking for a replacement for the paper. Oh wait, I now have an idea for a good app and am writing the requirements now. The app did have a use.

I passed this app many times because of the low star count from reviews - but I hadn't bothered to read them. Once I bothered to read them, I got the app and now I'm trying to bring a little balance here to the reviews. If you know Clue, this is a nice Clue note pad app. Not everything I'm looking for - but it functions how it's supposed to. I'm not in love with the layout, and the initial list of items, rooms and characters doesn't section them but puts them all in one alphabetical list. Really a small detail that doesn't hinder the functionality, I'm just really picky. The Pro version offers more of what I'm looking for, but I haven't tried that one yet. I'll give this one another run with a larger group before trying the Pro. Get it, try it, it's free. But if you don't know the board game, or how this app is meant to be used, please refrain from writing a negative review.

This app does what it's intended to do - replace the horrible paper in the board game Clue. If you've never played clue and/or never plan to, then this app isn't for you. It is NOT a standalone game. The end. It doesn't even attempt to present itself as a game. Any assumption to the contrary is the responsibility of the illiterate folk who lurk here. While I shouldn't be, I'm often shocked at the collective stupidity of people on the App Store writing reviews for apps that don't meet their unreasonable, and often plain ignorant, expectations.

Nothing like the real game, confusing, hard to play, and super annoying to figure out. This game deserves zero stars. If you're considering getting this game I would suggest you go throw your phone off a bridge instead because that would be more entertaining than this piece of crap game. If you download this app than you really need to reconsider what you're doing with your life. The only good thing about this app is it will boost your self-confidence knowing you didn't invent this poor quality, life sucking, pitiful excuse for a game.
