Nope NopeI love food, I love creating new things and I thought this would be a cool way to organize my ideas. However it gets confusing and looking at the featured recipes are awful. I won't even give this my attention if the featured recipe is a completely broken roux, or by an overly thick sauce, or disgusting looking dish. If there was option to share recipes and have then ranked it would be really fun, but so far it's really not that great.

Dissappointed DissappointedThis app had me excited since I like to take notes of all the recipes I make but there were many features that just don't work. Posting to Facebook always comes back with an error that the server is busy. Ingredients do not get added to the shopping list and so on....not worth the download :-(

Perfect for Sharing and Storing Recipes. Great Holiday Download! Perfect for Sharing and Storing Recipes. Great Holiday Download! This app offers so many ways to capture a recipe- text, sound and picture. I can really capture exactly what I cooked for recreation or to pass on. I've talked to other users that say there aren't enough recipes, but it isn't a cookbook app- IT'S FOR RECIPE STORAGE. The app helps you build your own recipe collection, which is unique in the recipe market. It's perfect for bloggers or those of us who prefer particular diets and ingredients such vegan/vegetarian, gluten free, South Beach, etc. I just had a vegan dinner party and sent the recipes out through Chef's Journal when people asked for them. It worked really well. Everyone enjoyed the email format. I also love that I can share the recipes on social networking sites. The recipes look great on Facebook. The only problem I've encountered (at least in the past) is when I use the title box as a full text box the app freezes after so many characters. Granted, that's not what the box is for and I think this has been taken care, so I'm more than happy with Chef's Journal. My favorite features are: -Recipe sharing on email and social networks -Voice, picture and text input -Extensive units of measurement -Thorough examples of recipes to look through -_Informative and easy to use website -Intuitive design for recipe editing and viewing
