Superb, But wonky Superb, But wonky

I love this game and it's concept. I loved it on PC, and I love it even more here. But, the controls are the part that makes me play for a minute then quit. The controls need to be optimized better, and instead of using the gyro-sensor to move, just put an in-game joystick for movement. Or, if possible, make it gyro-controlled for the aiming. Overall, it needs some serious re-tooling, but I loves it too much to give it anything less. Keep up the good work, Wolfire, and...maybe Black Shades 2? Please?

I love this game and it's concept. I loved it on PC, and I love it even more here. But, the controls are the part that makes me play for a minute then quit. The game is great! The idea is amazing and again wolfire is successful in making a unique and fun game! BUT, the games controls are the thing that ruin it. I would rate it lower if the game itself wasn't so great. The controls are frustratingly bad, you move your idevice In the way you want to go. So tilting it forward, makes you go forward, but the sensitivity is so high, even if your holding it still you will be moving. It's hard to use, and makes the game a little more difficult. But once you get used to it. The game is great! More people should get this game! And you should get it for the pc as well!

Description

Black Shades is an intense first-person-shooter game about a bodyguard protecting a VIP from an onslaught of assassins. It is a direct port of the popular open-source game Black Shades (http://blog.wolfire.com/2009/02/black-shades-iphone/).
