Great idea, not great implementation Great idea, not great implementationThis could be such a good app, but a lack of photos of many churches and lots of little niggly irritations means its only worth a 3 star. It has the look and feel of an app thats been rushed out , with little polish or testing. Which is a shame because if brought up to scratch it would be well worth the purchase price. At the moment it isnt.

Excellent app Excellent appThis is an invaluable app, the book is too large and cumbersome to take out 'in the field' and everything in the book is contained in this app, including the photographs and the excellent intro. My only gripe ( and a minor one at that ) is that my local church, Brampton St Martin has an accompanying photograph which is in fact Lanercost Priory. Otherwise excellent.

Good, but pages in intro don't line up Good, but pages in intro don't line upThis is the first electronic 'book' I've ever bought. Handy reference to keep with you though the map has limited functionality unless you've got an Internet connection (not great for non G iPad users). More problematically the text pages don't line up on the screen of the ipad2, so they don't 'turn' right. This makes the beautifully written intro a nuisance to read...a great shame. A bug that really needs to be fixed.
