For a significant undocumented percentage of the global population, cell phones have become inanimate enablers, facilitating socially and professionally crippling accidents and decisions. The Bad Decision Blocker is here to thwart this epidemic.
By making contact info unavailable for a user-selected time period, the BDB application prevents outgoing phone calls, text messages, and emails to the selected contacts from the iPhone’s address book.
Once a contact is blocked, the user will be unable to see the contact’s phone numbers and email addresses (NOTE: YOU CAN DIAL FROM MEMORY. APPLE DOESN'T LET APPS BLOCK THE PHONE'S RADIO). When the user launches the BDB, it automatically restores a contact's info in the address book if the block duration has expired.
Have trouble refraining from contacting someone you recently met before the socially acceptable grace period? Make regretful or accidental calls to coworkers and relatives? Can resist sending out risque pictures of yourself? The BDB can block contacts for up to a week.
