Fun, but needs more depth Fun, but needs more depthThis was a good fun game with a variety of puzzles. Many of the puzzles are old though, such as solitaire, sudoku, matching pairs, tower of Hanoi, and so on. In terms of originality, there wasn't much here. The game also relies a lot on a hidden object format - no matter how much they bill it as a room escape style. Too often I found myself scouring the screen for a tiny object that I needed to collect before I could progress. While the puzzles might not have been original, I did have fun and the game passed a couple of hours. The time would have been quicker too, had it not been for the somewhat clunky interface. Every time you select an object, a moment later it would move position so your thumb didn't obscure it. A nice idea, but in practice, every time I went to place a puzzle piece, it would move, causing me to keep having to realign it. Overall: Graphics, 3/5 good but not always clear. Puzzles: 3/5 fun and varied but hardly original or too hard. Story: 4/5 well written. Interface: 2/5 too clunky for my liking. Warning - only read on if you're happy for spoilers! In response to some reviewers: The game is definitely possible to complete - I've done it. Here are some tips for different puzzle types: The Pyramid: these puzzles are simple jigsaws. Each one has a clear border. Start with that and you will be finished in no time. The Shapes: (tangram puzzle) some of these have more than one solution but the game only accepts its own, predetermined solution. Never fear though, start with the large pieces and watch the colour as you place the parts. If it's correct, the colour darkens. The Towers: (tower of Hanoi) these are quite easy but if you get the first move wrong,it an take a long time to correct! To work out your first move, count how many hoops you ave to move. For an odd number (3, 5, 7) the first hoop goes to the far right. For an even number, the first hoop goes into the middle first. The Robot: this is actually quite easy if you don't panic. The order you move doesn't matter as long as you get all the batteries. Think ahead, but don't lay the pieces too far ahead. You can also lay directions on squares with batteries too.
