Great…but Great…butReally good selection of filters and decent frames, good level of control over them too. The downscaling of images is really disappointing, from a standard iPhone 25cm image to 12cm is not great at all, I wouldn’t have purchsed it if I’d known that would happen. It means it's is really only suitable for mobile use, not for desktop or printing purposes. Also I think it would be great to be the choice between Square and portrait borders for all styles.

Apple-esque app with decent filters Apple-esque app with decent filtersI went searching for a low-cost app that could mimic vintage-style photography and I think Analog is a pretty good choice. It doesn’t have all the bells and whistles of an app with granular controls, but it does allow you to control the intensity of the effect. And the interface has an Apple-like quality to it: just friendly and obvious with drag-and-drop and enough usability to get the job done.

good app good appFantastic app for giving some extra character to your photos, easy to use, nice filters and frames, only minus point is a lack of batch system to process a few photos at once!! Also is a bit annoying to get your browser open up everytime you post a photo to an album in Facebook.. no preferences whatsoever ??

Quick, easy to use, good range of effects Quick, easy to use, good range of effectsI was after something for creating some vintage colour effects and this ticks the boxes for useability and functionality. I shoot raw files and it handles these easily (approx 20mb). The feature that I like best is the ability to vary the intensity of the effect that you have selected via a slider control. This means you can be quite subtle about what you do. Along with the range of filters is a selection of borders - these are fun to use and feature effects like film / negative borders and grungy frames. One area where things could be improved is the scaling / repositioning tool - for example to repostion a pic into a square frame. While resizing/postioning, the image is blanked out ‘behind’ the frame so you dont actually see through the frame to the image until you have completed the reposition.
