Great attention to detail Great attention to detailI am somewhat of a linguist who has had many Vietnamese friends in the past and present, so I thought I might try this app out for them. Knowing and understanding their speech patterns when they speak english, I think this app would be fantastic for them. It simply pays a lot of attention to the small nuances, for instance the vowel section pointed out that 2 words I KNOW they would think sounded the same actually sound different. I think it would help them sort out the vowels so the don't all sound the same. Overall, fantastic app, recommend.

Really helps you hear the difference Really helps you hear the differenceThe app has an excellent selection of audio samples and really helps hearing the differences in sounds between your native language an American English. Definitely helps with pronunciation.
