Works great on iPod (4th gen) Works great on iPod (4th gen)For those of us who still remember what it felt like to be a runner, this app is great. It’s a structured workout that both raises the bar on a weekly basis, and it keeps you from doing something stupid just because you used to be able to do it. Both are important in my case - I will probably never be able to run distance at a 6-7 min pace again, but I am running again after a lapse of almost 30 years. The program allows you to repeat sessions. I run at least 5 days a week instead of 3, so I repeat the workouts as needed. If you feel that it’s pushing you too hard (or not hard enough), you can go to previous weeks or even future weeks. And to make it even better this app, unlike other apps I’ve tried that do pretty much the same workout schedule, allows you to play your iTunes music while the app is running. I love that. My main complaint is that even the pro version obscures the menus at the bottom of the screen with an ad banner when I use an iPhone 5S. That makes it impractical - though not impossible - for me to use the iPhone to play music while using this app. Oddly, the iPod does not have that ad. I’ll leave it to others to tell us how other devices behave. That obvious bug got a one star penalty.

Love it! Love it!I love this app, it takes the guess work out of the training with queues that voice over my music, and let's me run other heart rate tracking apps simultaneously. It's definitely encouraged me to train more consistently.

Suggestion for a fix Suggestion for a fixIn general, I really like this app. I originally used to 5k app but realized about 3/4s of the way through that I wanted to keep going and try a 10k. Of course, I didn't expect my progress to rollover from one app to the next, but it is annoying that, when I first used the 10k app at week 5 day 1, the timeline reset to week 1 day 1 instead of progressing where I left off. Now, I'm a few weeks into the 10k program and I have to manually select the day I'm on because it's reset at w1d1 every time I open the app. A handful of times I haven't realized this until my warmup was over. Then I have to start my run again if I'm staying on time with the prompts. Can you please fix the timeline to continuous so that it knows where we leave off, even if we haven't done all of the workouts?
